Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, this Classical Tutu Class offers two options to fit your needs - working with tutu net only (Single Color) OR working with both tutu net and enhanced sparkle tulle (Blended Color).

This seminar teaches it all, from the very start to the completed tutu, including skirt fitting, custom basque patterning and construction, hooping, tacking, and much, much more. We will teach both time-honored techniques and many of our newest ideas and innovations, born from the Tutu.Com Shop - the only shop in the country that makes tutus every, single day.

Learn everything you need to know to make your own beautiful, professional, performance-ready Classical Tutus. You will learn several ruffling techniques, including Tutu.Com’s signature double-hand pleating method. As part of this class, you will receive “The Classical Tutu Book” by Claudia Folts, her 57-step “Cheat Sheet” to help you remember the steps in order when you get home, plus her new, step-by-step, basque-patterning instructions, complete with full-color photographs and an easy-to-use math worksheet, designed by Elizabeth Ekey, of Tutu Theatre, one of our assistant tutu teachers, and introduction to a great measurement calculator designed by former TutuSchool student, Emily Raynor.

Course Kit Payment Options:

We offer two payment choices:  1. Online Payment Only: Pay in full when you register and receive a 10% discount on your classes, OR 2. Choose to pay a 50% course/kit deposit and our billing department will arrange auto-pay for the balance on 6/1 for NC-July. If you decide to pay your balance sooner, please call during office hours and we'd be happy to process final payment. Please note, if you add options with additional cost to the base kit price those fees will be added to your cart and paid with your first payment/deposit. Payments are non-refundable, however a TutuSchools credit, less 10%, will be granted for use within one year at any of our seminar locations when requested more than 30 days in advance of your seminar. If you must drop out within 30 days of the class date, no credit will be issued. Spread payments over 6 mos. interest-free with PayPal credit.
