This is a lighter weight bodice lining than the coutil. It is not a herringbone weave, so has more give, especially on the bias, than coutil does. Pre-shrunk, with a soft, but sturdy hand.
Perfect for lining traditional ballet bodices and many other costumes when a little more "give" is desired.
